Freight, Cancellation and Damage Claim Policy

The following options are available at additional charges:

  • Notification/Call Ahead of Delivery $85.00
  • Inside Delivery as well as Residential Delivery is Available for Certain Mfg.’s (please inquire)

Call Benchingworkstations.com with any changes. The customer is responsible for correcting all errors.

Please review all information on your attached order with Benchingworkstations.com thoroughly and make sure that it is correct. Upon placement of your order, you have a 24 hour period to cancel the order. After 24 hours, there will be a 25% cancellation fee. Refunds issued on a credit card may be charged an additioinal 3%. All orders are considered “custom”, since the products are in “your colors”.

All freight will be coming directly from the individual manufacturer utilizing common carrier freight lines.

All deliveries will be made during normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, unless previous arrangements have been made with Benchingworkstations.com. In the event you are not available to receive the freight, the freight will be considered “refused”. Any redelivery fee will be the customer’s responsibility.

Freight carriers in general will want to be “off-loaded” and products signed for as quickly as possible. Freight carriers are required to deliver the freight to the back of the truck, unless you make arrangements described below for off loading.

Freight damage and claims must be made the same day the product is received by the customer.

NEVER SIGN FOR A PACKAGE, BEFORE YOU INSPECT IT! ALL ITEMS (CONTENTS AND PACKAGING) MUST BE INSPECTED.

If the truck driver will NOT wait, please note any outside damage you see on cartons or boxes. i.e. “Carton 1 has damaged corner.” Also note on the bill of lading, the driver would not wait for you to inspect the package.

Next – Do not dispose of cartons and packaging!

  • Damage claims must include:
  • Photos of damaged products
  • Packaging of damaged products

Photos of packaging, photos of any damaged product and notation of missing products on the bill of lading must be e-mailed to [email protected] upon receipt of the products. We will take care of any issues!
